Dear Peter, we’re sorry you were disappointed with your visit. Your vehicle failed its MOT because the brake pad and disc defects identified during the inspection required a failure rather than an advisory. We understand that unexpected repairs can be frustrating. However, we cannot issue a pass or record a failure item as an advisory at a customer’s request. Our responsibility is to assess every vehicle consistently and accurately, with safety as our priority. We stand by our tester’s assessment and would be happy to explain the findings on your MOT failure certificate. Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss these or any concerns about the service you received. Car Fixers
